Our Company's History...

Here is a little about our company...

Seils Enterprises, Ltd. was created in 1994 as a creative collaboration of Don and Allison Seils. The former Contessa Patterns and the newly created Daystar Video Productions were incorporated under the laws of the State of Colorado in February of that year.

Contessa Patterns has a 21-year history of publishing garment patterns utilizing English Smocking and Shadow Embroidery. It's uniqueness is that most of its patterns are for women, rather than children. Allison Seils, its founder, is a nationally known teacher of these needle crafts and, in 1994, published a book on shadow embroidery entitled, "Silken Inspirations: Shadow Work Embroidery Designs."

Daystar Video Productions provides a wide range of video services for the consumer and commercial markets, utilizing industrial digital video equipment and computer-based editing for high quality and low cost, relative to the rest of the industry.

Daystar specializes in producing videos for a wide variety of experts from seminar presenters to drywall finishers--anyone who has something to teach and an audience.
